Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) builds a safe work environment where every person can make an impact while being their most authentic selves. The problem is, most people struggle with having difficult conversations about inclusion and equity. It evokes strong emotions, conflicting opinions, and potential conflict among coworkers. Sometimes all you need is a little help from a friend! I would love to be that person to help you, your employee resource groups, or your company on their DEI journey. I have personal and professional experience providing educational content, story telling and experiences to help your team and yourself think more inclusively.

Before I transitioned from female to male, I hid and did anything I could so no one had the capacity to take my livelihood or anything I valued from me. What I didn’t realize is that by doing that, I lost the most important thing I would ever own: my authentic self and real connection with others.
When I decided to show up in life as Ari, the person who I really am, it was the greatest gift and the bravest moment of my life.
I know the value of being inclusive and am here to support you in the journey for creating that work environment. Because at the end of the day, we all thrive in an environment where you can #BeYou!
Be Resilient Like the Water Bear
Just like the Water Bear, I've had to learn to adapt to survive in my life and I've learned that I'm stronger than I ever thought I was. And that's what I hope to give--the knowledge that we all have tremendous potential to grow, adapt, and be stronger--even when facing adversity.
I am here to help companies, non-for profit organizations and teams of people who want to have these hard conversations to improve their employees lives but also grow as a group.
Why am I the Wandering Water Bear? Water Bears are the most resilient creature. They can survive just about anything you can imagine from extreme cold and heat, massive radiation, deep ocean pressure, 100 years with no water, and even in the vacuum of space! They are small, unassuming, but mighty.
